Nothing is more of a red pill on Atlantis than actually reading the story. It literally tells you how unmagical and non-advanced they actually were.
Even orichalcum is said to only be slightly less valuable than gold, with no magical or sci-fi properties, plus it says they thought Athens, which wouldn’t exist for thousands of years

wtf...I thought they competed with adamant... well, that could still mean they're not scarce or good as weapons! like how gold is valuable but not useful.

gold is actualy more useful than it is valuable. its more useful in technology now then it is for any sort of money. that is the same reason ancient aliens made humans mine gold. for their technology

Nah Sitchin made that up, aliens can find more gold floating in space than they can here.

orichalcum literally translates to "mountain ore" they have found many ingots of the stuff in recent years, bronze alloys basically

Maybe there are some neat effects when it's molten! Like powering the engine that drove Talos

Greeks built robots and stuff. Westerners like doohickeys. I say it was a metropolis with an interesting toy shop or something that was swallowed by the sea due to climate change.

chinese had automatons too, literally hidden treasures you wouldn't even see without entry into the palace because there were 5 in the whole country, and if they were ever displayed they blew shitters' minds because putting water in a pipe was new technology back then

old colony/nation in another world that got rekt in a war for extinction. Think of it as world war 2 but elsewhere. Here on earth people just started to associate the happening from that tree of life to Plato's account.

I have no clue what you're talking about. I just personally had an awakening a long while and had to grieve for a lost home with kindred and familiar spirits. That wasn't a civ at our tech level. Very few things can make me weep, so it's not like it was an ordinary event.

Spirit phenomena aren't scientific. They are ephemeral and brief experiences that aren't repeatable. Spirits themselves are incorporeal personalities.

This is such a better show than the sci-fi remake and the remake was damned good

The scale is so huge. Humans and Cylons are two of very, very many space-faring factions. Including light beings a la Ultraman!

Most of it is just ultra morons thinly veiled racism about how there's no way brown people could do all the things they do so obviously this ancient civ of highly advanced white people taught them everything before somehow regressing to one of the last monkey brained people to become civilised.

Miniminuteman is a yt channel that's run by an Archeologist who mostly calls out morons and sometimes just does passion projects, his next big edition will be Atlantis, but there's a very breif touch on it in his most recent "bad archaeology" videos, Nebraska man, which was also pretty good.

I'm quite cautious with what i actually believe and what i just want to believe, but i'm quite found of Randall Carlson aproach on this. The thing i find fantastic about it all is how much time we've been doing that, our relations with natural phenomenons and how resilient we've been through the ages. And that fact that this is totally plausible. An history so old and remote, that now is inseparable from fantasy and fiction.

okay, so gold might be more better BUT...orichalco is more valuable than silver! that's still pretty good. AND it glows red. that's pretty cool.
    >non-advanced
I checked and their walls and temples had gold/silver/orichalco everywhere, it's definitely a strong civ!

Well for starters we know its past the 2 pillars which is the Rock of Gibraltar and Jebel Musa, so somewhere in the Atlantic.

There's two locations in the Atlantic near the Azores with very low depth, some around only around 100meters deep. With circular features and trident-like shapes.

We know Poseidon was associated with tridents obviously, and that Atlantis was allocated to him.

its a general term to describe the civilization that existed before the calamity. it occured before the last ice age, and the survivors kept knowledge of this. its now the most closely guarded secret there is

    it existed.

The "Great Work" of Freemasonry is to rebuild The Atlantean Empire, or more so make a second one ruled by "Philosopher Kings"

By how they currently seem to run things, i dont know if they are doing a good job. But yea, Atlantis was a real thing

excuse me we were a federation until a bunch of gays tried to do a power grab and ended up falling down into a lower state of existence. One of their ploys is to keep you tied to that lower state.
The irony is that there are higher regions where folk can return and inhabit again but those gates won't open until the history and its lessons are integrated and revealed.

It frustrates me severely to find so many spirituals all over the internet falling for the larp that "Lemuria divine feminine good, Atlan divine masculine bad".
