Are loners closer to the paranormal world?

Are loners closer to the paranormal world? Historically people seeking religious mysticism would occasionally wander off into the desert alone for years, people made up stories of old women living alone as being witches, hermits living by themselves out in the mountains would be seen as spiritually aware.
I was born to a single mother who was herself a "black sheep" socially, and in being a male with little value I fell through the cracks of society early and stayed there for life. Most of my life was spent alone or at best I would have one or two acquaintances I could speak with occasionally out of their convenience. Obviously I was never even considered an option by the opposite sex.

For a long time I've felt like I'm in a half-dreaming state and with each day I'm less human and more of the outside. It seems like one day I'll fall into a hole and vanish from this world entirely and end up somewhere else.

What I really like about EerieWeb is that you get to read stuff like this, and it's really fascinating all the different ways people live and think

Yes. I look behind and I only see me in a bedroom.

Thanks for the input, VICE journalist.

Isolation is essential for spiritual growth in my personal experience. I have friends, I have family, but I prefer to be alone because that's how I grow.

You have good friends, then. Most people don't respect loners. They think we are weak, so prone to be abused.

Loners are only closer to the paranormal world if they intentionally withdraw to cultivate something.

If you just happen to be a loner who doesn't fit in you're probably just autistic.

Value is a completely artificial construct which means if you want to participate in it you can follow specific steps to increase it.

If you want to connect with people that's possible, it'll just take some practise!

Autistic and paranormal are close to each other.

most people like that probably had something wrong with them though and they were still revered (or attacked) for being seen as mystical or the like

    >Are loners closer to the paranormal world?
Human beings require contact with others. Not having that has detrimental effect on your brain which will lead to paranormal-like things. Eventually you may talk to trees and have them talk back, see things that aren't there and the like. Whether you think this is real or not is up to you. It might depend on the spiritual aptitude of the person.

Bro in high school. I sat with people at lunch and ate food. There was at least like 5 or 6 of us.

Never forget that. Our cafeteria had fries, the crinkled kind. We had chicken patty sandwiches, we had vending machines for that awesome soda pop. It was pretty serious.

No but by being alone you could have more time to invest your energies in studying (unless you're wage slaving)

I just don't see it bro.
I feel it, I feel that I can have friends and a girlfriend. I don't feel that I'm that far off.
I'm extremely good bro, and I'm calm now, I get it now, I get it socially.
I understand, today, what caused all of my behavior. The fast walking, the fast talking, the urgency, the rushing, the shyness, the crazy talk, the anger.
I get it. I was sheltered, and therefore clueless about the world.

I feel that I can talk to people confidently. I know that I can.

There is a volleyball tourney in my city and so many kids my age are there. Do I sit and watch or stay home? Not like it matters. Right?

We all can only hope we'll get to go to an Isekai, maybe after we die.

    >Are loners closer to the paranormal world?
If they are actively participating in that world, yes. If you are seriously engaging in an occult practice I agree, but if you are just a loner and all you do is keep to yourself and you don't do anything occult, then you are just a regular loner and you aren't closer to anything paranormal.

I feel like this shit is not true at all, loners experiencing the 'paranormal' are just hallucination's caused by extended periods of isolation and lack of human contact.

I've only had two paranormal encounters in my life, both when I was a child and was sociable. One was a shadowy figure running from one side of the room. The other was seeing my deceased WW2 veteran Greatgranduncle in the middle of the night,

What about the people who are alone for tears and never experience anything and move to a new house and experience apparitions and then move again because of that and then stop experience things at the new location cause its not haunted?
