What do you mean by religion? I know it's a meme, but you can be "spiritual, but not religious".

You really need to make up your mind about semantics because you intend that if ghosts are real they are some form of physical manifestation and not something supernatural, but it does matter not because you can't point your semantic understanding of "spiritual" without sounding like a homosexual, you can say supernatural tho.

Ok, yeah, supernatural is a better word.

That’s like in that movie Nefarious. Spoiler below.

The guy ends up being possessed momentarily by a demon that makes him commit a crime and he still didn’t know for sure if he believed demons were real.

To see or hear proof of the supernatural and not believe in anything is crazy to me.

      Is that movie any good?

Yea. The demon possessed criminal did a really good job acting like one. Some parts were cheesy and could of been more realistic. Definitely worth watching once though.

I knew 5 minutes in when the demon said his name was of phoenician dialect it was going to have some knowledge in it

homie I explained here why I dont believe

          1/2
Well, I wasn't about to go in detail, but I think I will have the explain. The first paranormal experience:
          >Be me
          >13 y old
          >Alone at home
          >Pass through my pc
          >Hear a womanly voice coming from the speakers
          >"We are waiting for you, when you are ready..." she says
          >At first thought it was a signal interference(doesn't make that much sense, only in radio)
          >Look at pc and cables: realize the speakers weren't connected to any source of power.

I gaslighted myself that some woman outside, in the street, spoke that, but I know it isn't true. Now, I have heard that children and young people sometimes hear voices talking with them or calling name. Thats what I believe.

          and

          2/2
          The most recent experience
          >Be me
          >Now 17 y old
          >Home alone again
          >Walk through kitchen to go to living room
          >When I reach the arch that puts me in front view to the opposite wall of my living room, a humanoid shadow in the right corner fades away, "entering" the wall.
          >Immediately noticed it looked unnatural, my position to the light source would not cast a shadow there.
          >Backtracked my steps, in the exact position and everything
          >My shadow appears in a completely different place, as predicted.

This one is harder to cope. I say I was suffering from loneliness hallucinations, I was suffering from heavy depression in that period too. Thats all.

Not believing your own eyes becomes it's own religion after so much faith based denial, complete with repeating chants like "there must be a scientific explanation" and "it was just stress"

I went through a legitimate paranormal experience and became a believer in the occult and supernatural.
    > be me, 19 years old, doing summer school in college
    > loved horror movies too much. Would watch the exorcist, blair witch, the omen and the scariest shit out there and sleep like a baby afterwards
    > Then watched the exorcism of emily rose
    > anon was fascinated, needed to learn more
    > research the hell out of the true case files, listen to the exorcism tapes, read eye witness accounts and the case transcripts
    > sleep like a baby
    > next night I wake up at 3am
    > can smell rotting flesh coming from the dorm bathrooms a few rooms away
    > room is dead still, windows open but no breeze
    > think nothing of it and fall back to sleep
    > next night I sleep at 1am and wake up at 3am like clock work, wake up to the feeling of being watched. Can't really tell where it is or what's watching me
    > continue to wake up at 3am, but before I wake I can see 6-8 shadowy figures standing around my bed
    > Start waking up with fear and panic as if I felt unsafe in my room. Begin to sleep in the common lounge downstairs
    > would feel the fear come and go and when it peaked it felt like I was being watched
    > begin to have recurring dreams of being stalked by a demon the size of a 10 story building, attacking me in a dilapataed haunted house. At the end of the dream the demon would catch me, poke a hole in the back of my skull and pull out my soul. I'd wake up every night with a wet patch behind my head ...at 3am.
    > shit continued for 6 months
    > friends tried to get me to read every religious text out there
    > friends tried convincing me of converting
    > they hold a prayer in my room most nights but nothing works
    > try praying when the fear and feeling of being watched would come back, would try to fight it but it was too much, I'd nope the frick outta there.
    > finally take a trip to get away and it all stopped
    > Till this day, dunno wtf I went through...
