20 Hertz Hum Attack

I can’t sleep like this. It feels like a truck engine idling but lower. I can barely hear it but can feel it in my chest. How do they do it?

    It’s the earths resonant frequency

if you can’t “hear” it to where it’s causing you distress it’s probably ok

You’ll have some pain due to gravity changes as well. If it’s uncomfortable minimize exercise and caffeine for a day or two or three.

      > It’s the earths resonant frequency.

But it wasn’t doing this yesterday. It seems man-made for sure. I suspect I made one to many thought provoking posts this evening.

      > You’ll have some pain due to gravity changes as well.

      Why has/will gravity change?

To cancel any given frequency, you need the same frequency at the same amplitude at 180 degree phase offset, so the peaks and troughs coincide exactly opposite each other and where the zero crossings are aligned.

I actually have the equipment to do that but I don’t want to try a night. Will try tomorrow if it persists.

What equipment will be necessary to work with things like this?

A low frequency oscillator (with a fine tuning knob), an amplifier and speakers? Might be difficult to sync it to the hum though.

You would need a phase lock loop, not just a low freq generator. It's a negative feedback loop that compares your generated phase to the one the receiving wave has. Thats how radios work

Once it latches up, a simple phase inverter will make the opposite wave.

In other words you need a pll and an inverter connected to an adc to match what is such a low amplitude, random and non existent sound that no one hears.

This will happen to you, so dont be surprised or interpret it in any nonsensical way
            1) the sound wont be canceled and therefore more or less doubled, because if anything youll just create a white noise generator (because the sound doesnt exist) as the pll will never fricking lock on to it
2)the wave generated by your system will be spherical with a certain curve radius and thus will never superimpose itself to what a background plane wave

What you need is simple noise cancelling earbuds. If those don't work, check for tinnitus or plain insanity.

            >t. Normal person who larps as a CIA agent telling you everything is just fine and all spectrum analyzers in the whole wide world have not been tampered to display lower levels of low frequency signals than what they truly are in a joint effort with China to kill non vaxxed people

you don't need a phase-locked loop you literal glowie, you can just plug the input signal, and filter all high frequencies above 20Hz and THEN plug it into an inverter

what if the signal is frequency modulated then ?

            >FM signal
            >at 20Hz
not only is your post moronic but why would you care about demodulation when all you want to do is noise-cancelling

You’ve got me thinking now, if I can pick up the source hum with a microphone then I could sync my signal to it with a comparator. I’ve been quadruple vaxxed by-the-way.

Fricksake I've been hearing it too, sounds like a diesel generators hum

Started about 3 years ago? I thought I was just developing tinnitus but it goes away in the boonies.......

for reference and maybe for triangulation sake, I'm in east Texas

I've asked my wife about it, she says she can't hear anything (but she did get an initial round of vaccine... hmm)

5G, 6G? New electronics around you?

Some people are more tuned in to feel sense things.

Could Faraday cage help? Is can stop mobile phone signal.

    Probably echoing diesel electric train
They resonate many miles we are talking 20+ miles in my area and they resonate houses and shitost people can't detect it.
I'm convinced they're lying. Ive coaxed many into hearing it by walking them to it.

Yea I was fricked up with this being 20 miles away from a line. Finding that 'hum' here and there.
Then I moved like 5 miles away from the same line but in a bigger better house that didn't resonate like my cuck shed did. There are some spots like in a particular closet where I can catch it.

Now, this correlates perfectly with me being able to go outside now, with only 25% of the distance and hear that Fricking Train in it's full operating glory. I've even correlated obvious throttle changes so it's 100% in my case. Then I started finding that wind directions also play a roll.

This has been going on for me since August. I only hear it in my house. I'll go outside and can't hear anything. It's the same volume no matter where I am inside my house, upstairs, basement, kitchen, south side bedrooms and Northside. Even with earplugs it's still the same intensity.

I stopped drinking for lent and I just noticed the humming is gone. Wtf!

I wouldn't worry about it, it's probably just a tunnel boring machine building a new DUMB right beneath your home.

just don't mind it and it will go away
